As part of the photography course in prjctr, I have shot a project together with my students and we called it "Under your meal". Which is, literally, the consumer basket of a modern human.

The idea of that photoshoot could be interpreted in many different ways:

• How has our diet changed lately?
• How does food affects us?
• Our diet and well-being
• Does food makes us happier nowadays?
• The food of the future, etc.

I wanted to be a part of the process and filmed this topic through my lens. I'm sure that in the future, almost all food will be transformed into a pressed form. It's freeze-dried/pelleted foods in pills that have enough vitamins and calories for a certain amount of time.

Since the most important and expensive resource in our lives is time, I think, that most people would not spend hours cooking and prefer to save that time for something more entertaining and important. Of course, here we miss the main beauty of the processes of food selection, cooking, eating, etc., but the main criterion here is still time savings.

💊 What do you think of this idea? And would you prefer a pressed food pills or still a normal cooking process?
